The Distance Education Application and Research Center of Şırnak University was established in 2020 under the Rectorate of Şırnak University in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880. The center's regulations were published in the Official Gazette No. 31216 on August 17, 2020, and subsequently came into effect.

Since its establishment, the center has grown rapidly and continues to conduct various distance education and training programs. These include associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs, as well as courses, seminars, conferences, and other lifelong learning activities based on communication and information technologies.

Distance education activities at our university are carried out through the Microsoft Teams application. This platform is not only used for courses but also for webinars, training programs, and online meetings. To ensure the effective and efficient use of this platform, our center organizes training sessions.
